This collection of local historical and genealogical materials includes the Lee family genealogy; abstracts of military pensions; education, marriage, census, church, and cemetery records from Barren and other Kentucky counties; Barren County wills and order books; a deed signed by Patrick Henry, then Governor of Virginia, for land now in Barren County (1786); Edmund Rogers' surveyor's book (1785-1788) of land now in Barren County; and the journal of the Committee on the Library (Library of Congress) which includes minutes of meetings and an index (1829-1861).
